White coat ceremony at BUM&DC

Karachi: Bahria University Medical & Dental College hosted an inaugural ceremony to welcome the 3rd batch of BDS students at the College premises.

The new batch of dental students gathered at the BUMDC auditorium along with their parents and guests after which the program started as per schedule. Vice Admiral Tahseen Ullah Khan HI (M), Director General, BUM&DC, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. During her address, Dr Kulsoom warmly welcomed the young students, their parents and esteemed guests after which Brig (Rtd) Professor Shaheen Moin, Dean, BUM&DC addressed the participants. He highlighted the achievements of the students and the University in general, enlightening guests on the College’s state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified, experienced faculty members, and a success-centered curriculum. The Director General BUM&DC also addressed the guests, welcoming the new batch of BDS students on board, wishing them good luck and encouraging them to selflessly serve humanity with dedication.

The oath-taking ceremony was held during which the 3rd BDS batch recited the BUMDC oath, after which they were awarded their white coats which will be their identity and a representation of their noble profession during their four years at the University. The group photograph and refreshment session was followed by signing-in ceremony.

The University also welcomed the 7th MBBS batch with an inaugural/white coat ceremony at BUMDC.
