YNA Lyari demands security for nurses

KARACHI: The Young Nurses Association (YNA) Lyari Chapter has demanded the protection of nurses working in the Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital and the removal of OPS officials from their posts. The YNA Lyari Chapter Karachi staged a protest demonstration at the Karachi Press Club.

The protesters said incidents of harassment with staff nurses had become increasingly common in the hospital premises, and nurses have been struggling to continue their duties in such circumstances. He said OPS officials were also found to be involved in the harassment incidents of nurses.

They demanded Chief Minister Sindh and Provincial Health Minister for the immediate removal of OPS officers from their posts and the provision of security to staff nurses.
